Monsgeek M2 utilises a gasket mounting system to provide enhanced durability and a superior typing experience. Unlike many other keyboards in its price range, the M2's gasket mount delivers optimal flex within the case, resulting in a satisfying and tactile typing feel.

The M2 features a south-facing PCB that offers improved compatibility and customization options with Cherry profile keycaps. It also supports QMK and VIA, allowing for advanced cross-platform configuration, which is exclusively available on the international version of the M2.

For added sound dampening and a premium typing experience, the M2 includes a 3mm case foam made with Monsgeek's proprietary custom material that performs equally as well as poron. It is important to note that the thickness of the foam is customizable to personal preference, as using thicker foam may reduce the keyboard's flex.

Please be aware that the M2 model necessitates the inclusion of 2 1.5u function keys at R1 (ALT/FN). It is important to note that this board is compatible with Akko MDA/SAL profile keycaps. Additionally, due to its QMK compatibility, you have the ability to program any key to perform the function of these keys. Alternatively, if you possess a keyset that includes an alternate 1.5u R1 key, it can be utilized with the M2. However, it is strongly recommended to verify the compatibility of your keyset before assuming it will fit on the M2.
